On October 30, 2025, officers with the Eagan Police Department responded to an address on Promenade Avenue in the City of Eagan, County of Dakota, Minnesota, for a report of a theft. The reporting party (“Victim”) stated that she had discovered many of her designer shoes and handbags missing from her apartment. There were no signs of forced entry. Victim [NAME REDACTED] only other person who had a key to her apartment was Tmcc Dee Wilson, [DOB REDACTED], (hereinafter “Defendant”). Victim had allowed Defendant to borrow her vehicle in exchange for driving her son to and from school, and her car keys also had keys to her apartment on the keychain.
Victim had later asked Defendant to return her vehicle, but he had refused. Victim eventually located her vehicle parked at a casino and took back possession of it. Officers were able to positively identify and recover 16 of Victim’s missing items at various pawn shops. In total, the value of the stolen items came to $23,115.00. Officers were able to make contact with Defendant, and he admitted to taking the 16 recovered items without Victim’s permission and pawning them at the pawn shops. Defendant stated that he used the key to Victim’s apartment to enter and take the items during the times he was picking up and dropping off Victim’s son.
Defendant denied taking any additional items.
