On November 30, 2025, Officers were dispatched to Public Storage again on report of a burglary.
Officers met with Z. K. Who is the renter of unit G33. Z. K.'s unit lock was broken and when he checked his unit, half of the contents had been stolen with a value of approximately $5,950.00. Employees reported that the Driver of the SUV had attempted to use the Defendant's access code several times before leaving after not gaining access.
Public Storage had paused the code after the prior burglaries named him as a suspect. On December 5, 2025, Officers conducted a search warrant on the Defendant's storage unit, G22. Inside Officers located several of Z. K.'s items including his e-bikes, icehouse, grill, and other items. Officers later learned that the Defendant's Facebook account had Facebook Messages on November 15, 2025, stating that he stole from storage units and sent pictures of the items. He stated that he used his 3 27-CR-26-1055 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 1/13/2026 code to enter Public Storage numerous times throughout the night and stated, "got the old van full of some goodies." The State is requesting this complaint issue as a warrant.
