Around midnight on February 5-6, 2026, Ofc. Jeff Stevens of the Rochester Police Department went to Olmsted Medical Center. There, Ofc. Stevens encountered an adult male (hereinafter "Victim") who had visible injuries. Specifically, Victim [NAME REDACTED] from his face and his face was swollen. Victim's clothing had visible bloodstains. Victim was hesitant to speak with Ofc. Stevens. Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Stevens that he was a gas station in Rochester, County of Olmsted, State of Minnesota when a male subject he knew pulled up in vehicle.
The male subject asked Victim [NAME REDACTED] into the male subject's vehicle, stating they needed to talk. Victim got into the male subject's vehicle and the male subject drove away erratically. Even when Victim expressed concern about leaving his vehicle at the gas station, the male subject continued driving and took him to a residence of the male subject's mother. At the residence, multiple people were present. According to Victim, he was beaten up and restrained when he attempted to flee. Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Stevens that a handgun was brandished during the incident and Victim was struck with the weapon.
Victim also reported that his smart watch was taken during the incident. According to Victim, the male subject arranged an Uber ride to take Victim back to the gas station. Victim then drove himself to the hospital. Victim expressed fear for his life, stating that the male subject threatened to kill Victim [NAME REDACTED] incident. On February 12, 2026, Det. Bottcher followed up on the investigation. Det. Bottcher suspected that the principal suspect was CRESTOPHER KOMAKIC OGAK [DOB REDACTED]. Det.
Bottcher had that suspicion for various reasons: OGAK lived at the end of a cul-de-sac on Lexington Ln NW as described by Victim, OGAK goes by "Koma" and Victim reported the person to have a nickname starting with "K," OGAK is known to drive a black Mercedes similar to the suspect vehicle described by Victim, [NAME REDACTED] reported that the suspect was arrested two months before for having K57 gray pills and Det. Bottcher knew that OGAK's residence was found to have K57 pills during a search on Nov. 24, 2025. 3 55-CR-26-2404 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 4/6/2026 On February 9, 2026, Det.
Bottcher and Det. Bartsch followed up with Victim. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was OGAK. More specifically, Victim [NAME REDACTED] who assaulted him was OGAK and his nickname is "Koma." Victim had known OGAK for a couple years. In the past, Victim would buy oxycodone for OGAK and be a "middleman" for OGAK to buy oxycodone. On Thursday, February 5, 2026, OGAK wanted Victim [NAME REDACTED]. At around 7:00 P.M., Victim [NAME REDACTED] at OGAK's mother's house. The address was [ADDRESS REDACTED] NW. At that time, OGAK gave Victim around $1,500 to purchase oxycodone.
Victim could not get the oxycodone for OGAK, but OGAK thought Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Victim told OGAK to meet him at a gas station where he would give him the money. According to Victim, [NAME REDACTED] in a black sedan that belongs to Moses Ogak. OGAK told Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the car and Victim [NAME REDACTED]. OGAK's girlfriend, KEJI LORO JUBEK [DOB REDACTED] was in the front seat and OGAK was driving. Victim got in the back seat. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was just going to give the money to OGAK, but then OGAK started driving away.
