Koffivi Sewa Aklassou

On March 8, 2026, officers responded to a call for shoplifting at Best Buy at [ADDRESS REDACTED], in the City of Eden Prairie, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Officers learned that a male entered the store, clipped a security system in the area of the store where Apple products were located, and left the store with a MacBook Pro valued at approximately $1,599.00. Officers obtained the serial number of the laptop and learned that it had been pawned in Fridley by Koffivi Sewa Aklassou [DOB REDACTED] Officers learned that the same suspect was involved in a similar incident in Maplewood and that the suspect in that case had left a Samsung Galaxy smart watch at the store.

Officers obtained a warrant for the watch and learned that the account on the watch belonged to Aklassou. Officers compared surveillance photographs from both shoplifting incidents with known photographs of Aklassou and determined that he was the individual who stole the laptop on March 8, 2026.
