On September 19, 2025, law enforcement responded to a residence on Wisconsin Avenue in Champlin, Hennepin County, Minnesota, on a report of an assault. Upon arrival, law enforcement met with Victim, a known adult female. Victim was visibly upset and shaking. Victim reported that her ex-boyfriend, Akeem Ketorey Robinson, Defendant herein, came into her home without permission and assaulted her. Victim stated that Defendant pushed his way in, pushed Victim [NAME REDACTED], choked her with one hand, then took her prescription medication, cash, and an iphone 12. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had just gotten out of prison for domestic assault.
Victim further reported that she and Defendant share a child in common and that she believed Defendant had been following her and learning her schedule. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was fearful for her life when Defendant assaulted her. Defendant was gone when police arrived but did call Victim while they were there and the two continued to argue. Victim [NAME REDACTED] injury to her neck and to her forehead that was photographed by law enforcement. A chunk of Victim's hair was observed to fall out as she was speaking to law enforcement.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] had his cousin return some of her things the following day. Defendant has several prior convictions for qualified domestic violence related offenses that enhance this assault to a felony level: 1) ••-CR-••-•••• Malicious Punishment (Convicted 10/14/2019); and 2) ••-CR-••-•••• DANCO Violation x2 (Convicted 10/10/2023). Defendant's whereabouts are currently unknown. Due to the severity of the allegations and Defendant's criminal history, the State has concerns for public safety and respectfully requests a warrant.
