Cloud, Sherburne County, MN for reports of a domestic disturbance. Dispatch advised that it was reported that two individuals were physically fighting. Upon arrival law enforcement could hear yelling coming from inside the residence. Law enforcement made contact with victim [fully identified in reports] who was visibly upset. Officer Meiners observed a cut above victim’s right eye that looked to be swollen. Victim [NAME REDACTED], identified as ZACHARY MONROE TAYLOR, [DOB REDACTED] [hereinafter defendant] had pushed her into the cabinets, in which she hit her head and eye, sustaining injuries.
Victim also showed law enforcement a photo from two days prior which showed the injury to be fresh and blood on victim’s face. Victim [NAME REDACTED] one point she went to the living room and was sitting in the chair when the defendant came up to her and put his hand on her throat. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was able to push the defendant off of her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] is scared of defendant as there are previous incidents of assault. Defendant was then placed under arrest and transported to Sherburne County Jail.
Defendant has two prior domestic assault related convictions within the last 10 years: 30CR24246 (Isanti) and 30CR15834 (Isanti) PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
