On March 14, 2026, Coon Rapids Police were dispatched to the Casey's on Sunfish Lake Blvd to speak with O. S., who reported that earlier in the day, her boyfriend Sean Russell Wahlberg ([DOB REDACTED]), Defendant herein, had taken two iPhones belonging to her. O. S. Stated that she had gone to Defendant's residence on 6937 139th Lane NW in Coon Rapids, Anoka County, to pick up some of her belongings, as the relationship was ending. During the course of the property exchange, an argument broke out when O. S. Demanded the return of her phones, and Defendant refused.
He then locked O. S. Out of the house before leaving in his vehicle. At the time, Defendant still had two iPhones belonging to O. S., including O. S.'s personal phone. O. S. Stated that each iPhone had cost her $1200 to purchase. Defendant was apprehended not far from the scene, and the two iPhones were recovered. Defendant's parents spoke to police, and reported that while there was no explanation for why Defendant would keep O. S.'s personal phone, the other phone had been a gift from O. S. To Defendant, and that Defendant's parents had paid for phone service to that device.
The SIM card was removed before the phone was returned to O. S.
