On March 4, 2026, Faribault Police Officer Wunderlich was dispatched to [ADDRESS REDACTED], Faribault, Rice County, Minnesota, to take a report regarding a prior sexual assault. Upon arriving at the residence, Officer Wunderlich spoke with Juvenile Female Victim who is currently 15 years old. Juvenile Female Victim said she wanted to report four prior sexual assaults that were committed by a family friend, AHMEDNOOR ISMAIL ALI, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein. Juvenile Female Victim explained the defendant's mother and Juvenile Female Victim's mother are good friends and the defendant would often spend time with Juvenile Female Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Juvenile Female Victim [NAME REDACTED] could not remember the exact dates of the assaults, but she was able to remember how old she was when the assault occurred and what house her family resided when the assaults occurred.
Juvenile Female Victim reported all of the sexual assaults occurred in Faribault, Rice County. Based on the dates of the assaults, three of the assaults occurred when the defendant was under the age of 18 and one assault occurred when the defendant was 18 years old or older. Juvenile Female Victim [NAME REDACTED] during the COVID lockdown, when she and her family resided at 510 6th St. NW, Faribault, Rice County, the defendant had sexual contact with her. Juvenile Female Victim said this occurred when she was 12 years old.
Juvenile Female Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the hospital, in the ICU and on a respirator due to COVID. The defendant would come to their residence to help the family. The defendant would sometimes spend the night. On one occasion when the defendant was at their house, the defendant grabbed her chest and tried to pull her pants down. Juvenile Female Victim [NAME REDACTED] was holding her baby brother and the defendant entered the room and touched her chest and tried to pull her pants down. Juvenile Female Victim [NAME REDACTED] on the bed and ran from the room.
Juvenile Female Victim said the defendant pulled down his pants, and she could see the defendant's penis was "rising." Juvenile Female Victim [NAME REDACTED] was still wearing underwear. Juvenile Female Victim said "touching her chest" meant the defendant was touching her breasts. Juvenile Female Victim [NAME REDACTED] reported the four most vivid assaults she can remember. Juvenile Female Victim [NAME REDACTED] told her if she told anyone he would hurt her mother. Juvenile Female Victim [NAME REDACTED] did not tell anyone because she was afraid.
The defendant is 90 months older than Juvenile Female Victim.
