On July 24, 2025, at 8:20 P.M., an Eagan police officer was on routine patrol in the City of Eagan, Dakota County, Minnesota, when he ran a check on the registered owner of a vehicle that he observed. The check indicated the vehicle’s registered owner, Natalie Rose Passenheim, defendant herein, has a revoked driver’s license status in Minnesota. The officer observed that the driver of the vehicle appeared to be the defendant. The officer then stopped the vehicle. The officer approached the vehicle and identified the driver as the defendant.
While speaking with the defendant at the vehicle, the officer noticed the odor of burnt marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. The officer had the defendant step out of her vehicle. The defendant told the officer that there was a “quarter” of marijuana in the vehicle and the passenger had been smoking marijuana in the vehicle. The defendant also admitted to having a 50 bag of “coke” in the vehicle and some ecstasy pills. The officer then removed the passenger from the vehicle. The officer searched the vehicle.
In a purse sitting on top of the center console was the defendant’s identification. In the front compartment of a backpack just behind the center console was a pouch. Inside of the pouch was a plastic bindle containing a white powdery substance. The white powdery substance was preliminarily tested, and the test indicated the presence of cocaine and fentanyl, and it weighed.48 grams. There was also a bag containing 23 multicolored pills. One of the 23 pills was preliminarily tested, and the test indicated the presence of fentanyl, and the net weight was 6.59 grams.
