On December 12, 2025, officers were dispatched to a residence in the City of Inver Grove Heights, County of Dakota, State of Minnesota. Dispatch advised that a third party received a report that her sister was being assaulted by Eternity Dwayne George, [DOB REDACTED], defendant herein. The assault included a strangulation. Upon arrival, officers could hear a woman yell “stop.” The apartment went quiet after law enforcement knocked on the door. Officers made contact with Victim; an adult female fully identified in the police reports.
Victim reported defendant began saying terrible things about her children. Defendant appeared to want to antagonize her and asked her to hit her. Victim stated defendant stood over her with balled fists and flinched at her. Officers spoke with defendant. Defendant denied getting physical but acknowledged arguing. Defendant was placed under arrest. Defendant immediately became uncooperative. Defendant stopped walked and dropped his weight, causing officers to physically lift him off the ground. Defendant continually made comments about his arrest being motivated by race and called officers slurs.
Additional officers were called to the scene to help effectuate the arrest. Officers spoke again with Victim. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was fearful to speak with law enforcement while defendant was in her apartment and did not want to get defendant in trouble. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had drunk an excessive amount of brandy that evening and was intoxicated. Defendant was upset that her children looked too much like ex-partner. Defendant pushed her, backhanded her in the face, threw car keys at her head, and strangled her twice.
During the strangulation, Victim described defendant as wrapping his arm around her neck and flexing as he stood behind her. Victim could not breathe and felt lightheaded. Victim reported being fearful and used an iPad to text someone to help her in hope of not further escalating the situation. Officers spoke with the 911 caller. The caller showed officers the text messages from Victim. The text messages were consistent with Victim’s version of events.
