Victim 2 offered to let FERRERA know when he was home so he could come over and retrieve the phone. Victim 2 alternatively stated if A. W. Was at the home, he could let FERRARA in to get it. Victim 2 stated he did not giver FERRARA permission to enter the home without him present and did not give him permission to enter his locked bedroom. On April 6, 2026, at approximately 7:04 P.M., FERRERA pawned Victim 1's Louis Vitton sunglasses. This occurred at a Pawn America located in West Saint Paul. On April 7, 2026, FERRARA pawned four pieces of Victim 1 and 2's jewelry. 2 82-CR-26-1668 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 4/20/2026 On April 9, 2026, Detectives received a phone call from FERRARA. During this conversation, FERRARA admitted to going into Victim's residence but claimed Victim 2 gave him permission.
FERRARA stated he entered the house through the back door. FERRARA denied taking any of the missing items and stated the boots he took were next to his phone on the counter. When the list of missing items were presented to FERRARA and asked if they ran a bell, he stated "I'm not sure." Later, went confront about pawning various items, FERRARA stated they were given to him as gifts by Victim 2. FERRERA was unable to recall what gifts he was given that he had pawned days prior. Victim 2 denied any of the missing items being given to FERRARA as gifts.
FERRARA has 6 prior felony convictions: 3 aggravated robberies in the first degree, two for aiding an accomplice after the fact, and possession of a firearm/ammunition by an ineligible person. FERRARA has two pending cases in Ramsey County for Drive by Shooting and Ineligible Person In Possession of a Firearm (62-CR-25-6450); and Fifth Degree Drug Possession (62-CR-25-5456). A warrant is respectfully requested.
