Police Week 2026 || Appreciation Message from Chief Hodges

Longington chief I just here 2026 police week. I just want to say thank you to all the police officers that go out here every single day and Put on that uniform and tell the public that their life is less important than theirs and unfortunately a few police officers around the country have had to make that ultimate sacrifice of giving their lives locally here some person clown whatever you want to call them try to kill five of my police officers and Fortunately, they were not successful and also recently locally here someone tried to kill a richfield police officer and God willing by God's grace they were not successful We support our cops over in richfield Sucks you got to go through these types of deals, but you know, we're glad that you're here and whatever you need from Bloomington we will be here for you and to the public We see a police officer if you're so inclined thank her and him for their service We might not act like We might not act like we always are receptive of it, but trust me We are and to every family out there of a police officer Just know that there's a lot of us in leadership that do appreciate What you do every day by allowing us to have your loved ones come work for us So with that Bloomington, we'll see you back here soon
