On January 22, 2026, at approximately 1:46 P.M., police were dispatched to White Castle on Rice Street in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, on a report of a domestic assault where a boyfriend was using a vehicle to ram into another vehicle containing three people. While en route, dispatch updated that the victim’s vehicle was driving toward St. Paul Police headquarters. The squad located the victims at Mississippi Street and University Avenue. Police had the vehicle follow them to headquarters and spoke with the victims inside due to the extreme cold.
The 911 caller, TNC, told police that she was at her apartment on Charles Avenue in St. Paul with her boyfriend, JAYMON JAREL BURTON – [DOB REDACTED], and her son, KD – YOB: 2023. TNC said she is pregnant and went to a doctor’s appointment for a check-up where she learned she had an STI. TNC reported that at some point another female contacted her and said she got the same STI from BURTON. TNC said she and BURTON argued about BURTON giving her an STI, and the argument became physical with pushing and shoving.
TNC called her friend, VM, for a ride to leave the apartment. A short time later, VM arrived, and TNC, KD, and VM left in VM’s vehicle. TNC said they drove to White Castle so VM could use the restroom. After VM got back in the car, TNC noticed BURTON drive into the parking lot then BURTON intentionally drove his vehicle into the passenger side of VM’s vehicle. TNC reported that BURTON rammed VM’s vehicle with his vehicle four or five times as they tried to drive out of the parking lot. TNC said VM drove away, and BURTON rammed their vehicle an additional three times on a side street, which caused them to spin out and run into a curb.
TNC reported that VM drove to the Holiday gas station on Rice Street. TNC said BURTON drove into the parking lot, parked near VM’s vehicle, got out of his car, walked over to VM’s vehicle, and opened the passenger door where TNC was sitting. TNC thought BURTON was trying to get her out of the vehicle, so she shut the door and VM drove off again. TNC said they drove toward police headquarters and met the squad while on their way. TNC did not recall BURTON saying anything but noted that he looked very intense, and TNC was very scared.
Police observed damage to multiple locations on VM’s vehicle including the front, sides, and rear. Additionally, the rear driver’s side tire appeared to be bent inward. At some point during the incident, BURTON’s bumper fell off, and TNC was able to recover it and turned it over to police. In a follow-up statement on January 26, TNC confirmed her initial statement that she argued with BURTON, so her friend VM came to pick up her and her son, KD. When they were at White Castle, BURTON drove into the lot and repeatedly rammed VM’s vehicle.
In a follow-up statement on January 26, VM told the investigator that TNC called her and asked her for a ride, so she picked up TNC and her son, KD, then they went to White Castle so she could use the restroom. VM reported that she was inside White Castle for one or two minutes. When she got back into her vehicle, BURTON had pulled up next to her vehicle then began striking her vehicle with his. VM said BURTON was laughing while striking her vehicle with his, and she reported that there was another person in BURTON’s vehicle who was also laughing.
