On February 9, 2026, at approximately 12:53 P.M., city of Bloomington Police Department officers received information about a domestic assault that had occurred earlier that morning. Officers met the reporting party, identified as C. R. R., [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Victim. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been separated from her husband, identified as SECUNDUS ARIE RAY, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant, and he came over the day before to pick up some laundry. She did not want to let him in, due to his behavior, and she told him she put his laundry on the back porch.
Defendant proceeded to go to the back door and kick and bang on the door. She moved his laundry to the front door; he picked it up and left. On the morning of February 9, 2026, she received a call from Defendant yelling at her about his car. When she got home, Defendant was there and went head-to-head with her car. Defendant then got out of his vehicle and went up to the passenger side window and pointed a gun at her. Defendant told her that if she called 911, he would make sure that an ambulance would come, and that he would shoot her, while pointing the gun at her.
Defendant demanded a battery pack for his car, but she told him she would not get out of her vehicle. She then Facetimed with her daughter so she could get him what he needed. Defendant then drove away. Officers later located Defendant’s vehicle and placed him under arrest. During a search of Defendant’s vehicle, officers located a black 9mm Glock 19 handgun, with a loaded magazine. The handgun was listed as stolen out of Minneapolis. Defendant is prohibited from possessing a firearm based on the following convictions for crimes of violence: 1. Aid and Abet 2nd Degree Murder, dated 6/9/2004 (Court File # ••-CR-••-••••). Defendant is in custody.
