On 11/02/2025 at approximately 1919 hours, Officers responded to a report of domestic assault at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Officers arrived and spoke with a known adult female, Victim herein. Victim [NAME REDACTED], ISAIAH JAMES SUTHERLAND, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, had just physically assaulted her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the night she and Defendant had gotten into a verbal altercation which escalated. Victim reported that Defendant then grabbed her by her shoulder that Defendant knows to be injured, and also aggressively grabbed near her neck and said, “I am sick of your s***” and “f*** you.” Victim [NAME REDACTED] has assaulted her in the past and assaults her regularly.
Victim reported that she and Defendant share two children together. Defendant left prior to Officers arriving. On 11/05/2025 at approximately 0131 hours, Officers responded to another reported domestic assault at Victim’s address involving Defendant. Officers arrived and found Defendant in the hall of Victim’s apartment complex. Officers then placed Defendant under arrest. Defendant has two prior qualified domestic violence-related offenses: 62-CR-21-198 - Domestic Abuse; Violates order for protection w/in 10 years of previous conviction/adj of delinq. – Convicted on 07/07/2021. 02-JV-15-1709 - Domestic Assault-Misdemeanor-Intentionally Inflicts/Attempts to Inflict Bodily Harm on Another – Adjudicated delinquent on 12/29/2015. Defendant is currently in custody.
