The following is based on your complainant’s review of the reports of other officers and your complainant’s own investigation: On June 8, 2026, at about 1:00am, Ramsey County Emergency 911 received a call from a home on Roy St. N., St. Paul, Ramsey County. The caller said that her young female neighbor had come to her unit for help, saying that the neighbor’s father was assaulting her and trying to kill her. St. Paul Police responded and met with the neighbor, 11-year old AMC ([DOB REDACTED]). She was crying and appeared terrified.
Her father is the defendant, ANTHONY RYAN COMODORE aka Anthony Ryan Commodore ([DOB REDACTED]). AMC said that on this night, the defendant had been drinking alcohol while she was on a phone call with friends whom he does not like. She said that at about 12:30am, she went to him to say goodnight. She said that there, he repeatedly punched her in the eye. She said that as she returned to her bedroom, he punched her in the back of the head and in the back. She said that eventually she was able to escape to the home of the neighbor (the 911 caller). Photographs were taken of AMC. Officers went to the apartment.
The defendant came to the door. He repeatedly yelled only that AMC is a runaway who should be in jail. Eventually he was taken into custody. The defendant’s 15-year old son (AMC’s brother) was present. He said that as AMC said good night to the defendant, the defendant began to swear at her and strike her all over with his fist. He said that the defendant blamed her for running away. He said that the defendant continued to do this until AMC urinated on herself. He said that he tried to intervene, but the defendant threatened to “beat” him too.
The brother added that this kind of conduct is common when the defendant drinks, which happens frequently. While the defendant was being booked, he continually threatened one of the arresting officers. In a Mirandized interview, the defendant said that the mother of AMC and her brother had passed away in 2025. He said that he works a demanding manual-labor job to provide for the children. He said that AMC regularly runs away, and he expressed frustration with the organizations assisting his family.
As to this incident, the defendant acknowledged having been intoxicated and having physically disciplined her, though he denied having struck her head or face. He also acknowledged that AMC’s brother had attempted to intervene and that he warned the boy to back away. He said that the boy would be truthful about what had happened. In 2017, a teacher reported to the defendant that AMC’s brother, who was then five years old, was having behavioral issues in school. The defendant responded by walking into the classroom, punching AMC in the side (knocking the child from his chair), and carrying him off, all seen by the teacher.
