02/11/2001 (25), violated the law as set forth herein. On April 8, 2026, Alexandria Police Officer Plumski responded to a report of a sexual assault that occurred at the YMCA in Alexandria, Minnesota. Upon arrival, Ofc. Plumski met with YMCA employee, N. B., who stated at 1:10 pm she unlocked the door to the maintenance room and saw K. H., an employee who is also a vulnerable adult, with her back against the wall and another YMCA employee, HARLEY MICHAELS FUNK, [DOB REDACTED] (“Defendant”) was close to her, appearing as if he was trying to kiss K. H. Both were startled when N. B. Opened the door and N. B. Observed K. H. Was visibly shaking and wide-eyed.
The Defendant stated they were just talking about another employee who was being mean to K. H. The Defendant then stated he was already clocked out of work and left quickly. K. H. Told N. B. That the Defendant was trying to get her to do something “down there” she didn’t want to do. K. H. Stated the Defendant told her he wanted to have sex with her and touched her on her breasts and vagina, over and under her clothes. K. H. Appeared to be very scared and she was shaking and clenching her hands while reporting this to N. B. And C. N., another YMCA employee.
K. H. Also reported the Defendant slapped her butt earlier that day. Ofc. Plumski spoke with K. H. And her statement was consistent with what was reported by N. B. And C. N. K. H. Stated she knew the Defendant from high school, but he was 6 years younger than her. K. H. Stated she is scared to go back to work since the assault. Sgt. Rosha spoke with the Defendant at his residence. The Defendant stated he is aware K. H. Is a vulnerable adult. He stated earlier that day at work, K. H. Was making advances towards him and grabbing his hands and putting them on her breasts and vagina.
The Defendant stated that K. H. Told him she wants to have children with him and was disrespecting him all day. The Defendant also stated K. H. Took his hand and slapped her butt with it. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 609.49, intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
