On March 19, 2026 at approximately 7:52 P.M., Austin Police Department Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of 4th Avenue SE in the City of Austin, County of Mower. The reporting party, Victim A (an adult male), told dispatch that AYE STAR, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter the defendant, kicked in his door, attacked him, and then left. Austin Police Department Officer Ted Sherwood arrived on scene, followed shortly thereafter by Officer Damien Schroeder, and Officer Sherwood spoke with Victim A. Victim A stated the defendant is his ex- girlfriend, and he and the defendant have a four-month-old child together.
Victim A said he had stopped by the defendant’s residence to drop off clothes and pick up their child [NAME REDACTED]. When he arrived, he saw the defendant sitting on the couch with their child. Victim A said he knocked on the door a few times, but the defendant did not answer. Victim A said he hung the clothes up on the door and went back home. Shortly after he left, the defendant called Victim A. Victim A did not answer. Later, the defendant showed up at his door and knocked repeatedly. He did not answer the door, but the defendant kicked in his front door and entered.
Victim A said he was by the doorway when she entered, and the defendant started hitting him with a closed fist on the head, yelling “Get your daughter.” Victim A said he used his right arm to shield a few of the hits before pushing her away. Victim A told the defendant to stop hitting him and that he was going to call 911. The defendant then took off in her white Ford Escape. The defendant said he was not in fear and nothing hurt at the time. Officer Sherwood saw a fresh cut on Victim A’s right hand that was still bleeding.
Officer Sherwood observed Victim A’s door was forcefully opened, observing shoe marks on the door and that the deadbolt was damaged. There were also small cracks to the door frame. While Officer Sherwood was speaking with Victim A, Officer Schroeder also observed shoe prints on the door and damage to the door frame. Officer Schroeder was then advised by dispatch that the defendant was currently a resident of Meadows West. Officer Schroeder drove to Meadows West and made contact with the defendant.
The defendant stated that Victim A told her he could not care for their child. Victim A said the she and her children were sick when she tried to call Victim A. The defendant went to his residence, Victim A would not answer his phone or his door, so she began to bang on the door. The defendant said she then kicked the door four times, when it abruptly opened. The defendant said she was kicking the door to get the Victim to open the door so they could talk. The defendant stated she walked inside when the door opened and asked Victim A why he didn’t answer the door or her phone calls.
She stated nothing happened when she went inside the residence. The defendant said she was not sure how Victim A got marks on his arm, that she did not touch him at all, and this is not her fault. The defendant said she believes Victim A is making this up. The defendant said all she did was put her hand out and hit him on the shoulder when asking him why he did not open the door. Officer Sherwood joined Officer Schroeder at the defendant’s residence, and he observed a single pair of shoes in her apartment – a pair of white “crocs” – the bottoms of which matched the shoe prints on Victim A’s door.
