Victim advised that she met an adult male who identified himself online as “Ozzy Oz” through Facebook Dating. The two corresponded, including exchanging text messages, phone calls, and video chats. Some of those conversations did include talk of sexual acts and images. Victim advised on October 10, 2025, he invited Victim [NAME REDACTED]. She explained she was exhausted from a funeral and invited him to her house instead. Victim [NAME REDACTED], Sherburne County, Minnesota. Before their meet‐up, Victim [NAME REDACTED] did not have sex on the first date.
Victim advised the man showed up with a 24 pack of beer and some weed; they did drink alcohol and smoke weed that evening. During their meet‐up, while in the kitchen together the man began to kiss her and stated, “show me to your room.” Victim again re‐iterated that she was not going to sleep with him. The man pulled his pants down, still wearing his boxers. Victim stated, “this is not happening” and walked to the living room. The man followed her and asked her if she knew his real name. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was his real name.
The man responded that was his Facebook name, and his real name was Cullen Michael Alex Osburn [DOB REDACTED]. He told her to Google him. When she did so, she found that he was involved in the death of a UW student in Wisconsin in 2016. Osburn told Victim [NAME REDACTED] did four years in jail for that crime. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was really scared. Osburn then grabbed Victim [NAME REDACTED] on top of him so she was straddling him and kissed her. He attempted to pull down her pants, and she kept repeating, “no we are not going to have sex.” He continued to try and she repeatedly told him no.
Victim stated that Osburn pulled back from her and stated, “you are not going to leave me hanging like that, I am going to get that pussy one way or another.” Victim said she tried to make a joke to put him off, saying “I told you I don’t sleep with people on the first day I meet them, so you can come back tomorrow.” Osburn replied to her, “no, I am not leaving without it.” Victim described that he forcefully pulled down her pants and inserted his finger into her vagina. He removed his fingers from her vagina and put his penis in her vagina.
During the assault, Osburn put his right hand on her neck and leaned down on top of her, estimating the force of the grip as a six or seven out of ten. Victim [NAME REDACTED] would pass out. Osburn let go of her neck and rolled her to her side so he could “finish.” Osburn was not wearing a condom, and she was unsure if he ejaculated inside her, but stated after Osburn told her he did not. Victim [NAME REDACTED] during the assault, Osburn was very aggressive, and that he appeared very angry and his eyes were “dark.” Victim [NAME REDACTED] during the assault, she was so afraid of him.
She described that she was very sore on her neck and chest after the incident, though did not have any visible marks. After the assault, Osburn asked to order food so they did, and they ate. He then napped for about twenty minutes at the house and then left. Victim informed law enforcement that she obtained a sexual assault examination the following day, October 11. Vaginal swabs and cervical swabs taken from Victim during this examination were submitted to Midwest Regional Forensic Laboratory for DNA testing, along with swabs taken from Victim [NAME REDACTED]. The results were consistent with Victim [NAME REDACTED], and that the mixtures are greater than one billion times more likely if they originated from Victim, Osburn, and one unknown unrelated individual than if they originated from three unknown individuals.
