Domonick Anthony Goodman

On 12/11/2025 at approximately 08:06 hours, Officer/Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the area of [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, Hennepin County when he observed a theft suspect from a previous call walk past him. Officer MQ immediately began walking behind the male, later identified as Domonick Anthony Goodman, [DOB REDACTED] (now referred to as "DEFENDANT") and gave him verbal commands to stop. The officer was in full uniform and verbally identified himself as well. DEFENDANT began to run from the officer.

At one point DEFENDANT pulled out a knife, turned around to face the officer, and held it into the air above his head making a lunging motion toward Victim MQ. The officer slowed his pace to create distance from DEFENDANT and continued to pursue him. The chase continued for several blocks until DEFENDANT stopped and hid in a bush in front a residential address. DEFENDANT tossed the knife into the snow and came out from the bush with his hands up. DEFENDANT was then taken into custody and transported to the Hennepin County Jail.

The knife was recovered in the snow and entered as evidence. DEFENDANT is currently in custody.
