AMENDED TO CORRECT DATES On December 22, 2024, St. Paul Police Officers responded to a theft of a motor vehicle report at [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County. The reporting party, Y. G., stated that he was selling a black Chrysler Town and Country with MN license plate [PLATE REDACTED] on Facebook marketplace. He communicated via phone with a woman who went by "Shauna," about buying the vehicle. "Shauna" went for a test drive with the vehicle and did not return it. Y. G. Did not give "Shauna" permission to permanently take the vehicle and she did not pay the requested price for the vehicle.
On December 27, 2024, Bloomington Police Officers received an Automated License Plate Reader activation for the stolen vehicle at the Mall of America, 8100 24th Avenue South, Bloomington, Hennepin County. Surveillance showed the driver of the vehicle enter Macy's. The driver was later identified as SHAUNA LEE CALLAHAN, Defendant herein. Officers stopped the Defendant, and she was placed under arrest. The Defendant was carrying a purse when she was stopped that contained the keys to the vehicle. Inside the vehicle was a white purse with documents addressed to the Defendant.
Also inside the purse was a scale, plastic baggies, a glass pipe with suspected narcotic residue, and two baggies with suspected narcotics inside. The suspected narcotics field-tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 2.81 grams and 4.27 grams. The Defendant is currently out of custody.
