At around 8:40 PM on January 27, 2026, officers were sent to the apartment building at [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County on a son who had threatened to kill his parents. Officers met SS [DOB REDACTED] and KS [DOB REDACTED] outside the apartment. SS told police his son, CALEB JAI SKINNER [DOB REDACTED], came home agitated. KS told Skinner to close the fridge. Skinner got mad and argued with KS. SS told Skinner that KS was just reminding him to close the fridge. Skinner grabbed SS’s hoodie near the collar and pushed SS against a door.
Skinner said, “Get out of my face. Stop talking to me. I will kill you both.” SS told Skinner he was going to call police. Skinner went into his bedroom, and SS heard a gun being racked. SS and KS left and called police. SS said his son’s behavior makes him fear for his life. KS said Skinner came home angry, went to his bedroom, and slammed the door. Skinner came out of his room and complained about there not being any food there. Skinner slammed the refrigerator door which caused the freezer door to open.
KS told her son to close the freezer door, and he went on a tirade about not being stupid. Skinner accused KS of causing problems and told his mother to suck his dick. SS came out of the bedroom and told Skinner he could not talk to his mother like that. Skinner grabbed SS’s shirt, slammed SS against the door, and told his parents he will kill them and put them six feet under. Skinner went to his room, but he later came out and asked his parents if they were calling police. Skinner said he was ready for a war and that was what he needed.
KS did not hear Skinner rack the firearm. KS said a couple of weeks ago, Skinner came out of his room and pointed a gun at KS at their apartment. Skinner laughter at KS and said it was not loaded. KS said Skinner got mad at her last week and threatened to kill her. KS said SS was at work at the time, so KS barricaded her bedroom door for safety. Skinner told KS he had a Glock. Officers spoke to Skinner on the phone. Skinner exited the apartment and was arrested without incident. Skinner did not have a weapon on him when he was arrested.
Skinner was advised of his constitutional rights and agreed to speak to police. Skinner said he got into an argument with his parents and slammed a door. Skinner denied he threatened his parents. Skinner denied he had access to a firearm. Skinner denied police would find a handgun in his bedroom were they to obtain a search warrant. Officers obtained and executed a search warrant on the apartment. A backpack beneath the bed contained a loaded Glock handgun, an additional loaded magazine, and additional ammunition.
Skinner has a prior juvenile case from August 2025 where he possessed a loaded revolver and threatened to kill people at a residence.
