On January 31, 2026, around 9:21 A.M., Minneapolis Police responded to a domestic violence call at an apartment in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officers were aware that Reporting Party, a known adult woman, had reported that Terrence Richard Roloff, [DOB REDACTED], “Defendant” herein, was outside her apartment banging on windows, had broken a window of the apartment, holding a liquor bottle, and refusing to leave. Officers received multiple calls from the apartment building about hearing loud banging sounds and screaming.
Victim also identified the car that Defendant was driving. Officers learned that Defendant’s Minnesota driver’s license was revoked. Officers arrived and saw Defendant in the driver’s seat of his car that was parked with the engine running outside of the apartment building. Officers saw a partially filled bottle of alcohol sitting on the passenger seat and Defendant appeared impaired. Officers attempted to remove Defendant, but Defendant resisted and fought with officers. Eventually Defendant was placed under arrest and Defendant admitted to relapsing on cocaine.
Defendant was searched and officers located a baggie of 1.04 grams of field-tested positive fentanyl and a large amount of cash, $2412. Officers spoke with Reporting Party who confirmed that Defendant had damaged the front door/window of the apartment, and it is believed to be over $1000 in damage, but a repair estimate is still pending from the Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant is currently in custody.
