Darrian De Yon Lenoir

On January 11, 2026, Minneapolis police officers responded to a domestic in progress at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Officers arrived and met with J. B., herein Victim. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in an argument with her ex- boyfriend, Darrian De Yon Lenoir, herein DEFENDANT. During the argument, DEFENDANT stated, “shut up, or I’m going to slap the s*** out of you.” DEFENDANT then placed both of his hands around her neck and strangled her. Victim stated that while being strangled, she had difficulty breathing and felt stuck, in fear and panic.

Victim called 911 and DEFENDANT fled out of the back door. Officers located DEFENDANT running southbound in a nearby alley and arrested him. DEFENDANT is charged with Felony Domestic Assault involving the same victim and currently set for trial February 2, 2026 – case file ••-CR-••-••••. In that case, the State argued for a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order, however, it was denied and a standard no contact order was put in place as a condition of DEFENDANT’s release.
