On May 17, 2026, officers from the Minneapolis Police Department responded to a report that a person had been stabbed at the Fine Line, a club located on the 300 block of 1st Avenue North in the City of Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN. Upon arrival at the club officers made contact with an individual, fully identified in officers’ reports, Victim 1 herein. Officers observed Victim 1 on the ground with blood over his body. Officers also observed blood on the ground. Victim 1 was suffering from multiple stab wounds including a stab wound to Victim 1’s stomach along with wounds to his chest and arm.
Victim 1 was then transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for medical treatment. Officers spoke with a person, fully identified in officers’ reports, Victim 2 herein. Victim 2 told officers that she was with Victim 1 at the Fine Line that night to see a concert along with other friends. Victim 2 said an unknown male approached her and started to make sexual advances towards Victim 2. Victim 2 said the suspect identified himself as Isaac or Israel and was wearing a white shirt. Victim 2 said that the suspect’s actions made her feel uncomfortable, so she went to find Victim 1. Once Victim 2 met up with Victim 1, the male, later identified as Israel Moncada, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant 1 herein, grabbed Victim 2’s buttocks without her consent.
At that point a fight broke out between the Victim 1, Defendant 1 and two other males. During this altercation, Victim 2 saw Defendant 1 take out a knife and stab Victim 1. Officers then talked to two additional witnesses who had met up with Victim 1 and Victim 2 at the club. One of the witnesses had captured the incident on their cell phone and provided it to officers. The witnesses advised officers they witnessed a fight between Victim 1, Defendant 1, and two other males. The witnesses described Defendant 1 as a male with a white hooded sweatshirt with a distinctive tattoo on his right forearm.
A second suspect was described as a male wearing a dark colored t-shirt with a tattoo of a feather on his right arm. The third suspect was described as a male wearing a flannel shirt. Officers were able to obtain photos of the three suspects taken off surveillance video. In addition to Defendant 1, officers were also able to identify the two other males as Daniel St. Peirre, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant 2 herein; and Hayden Forsberg, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant 3 herein. Officers viewed the cell phone video which began by depicting Victim 1 engaged in a physical altercation with Defendant 2 and Defendant 3. While Victim 1 was on the ground on all fours being struck by Defendants 2 & 3, the video showed Defendant 1 stabbing Victim 1 multiple times.
A still shot taken from that video shows Defendant 1 with what appears to be a knife in his hands prior to stabbing Victim 1. Officers then obtained surveillance video showing all three Defendants leaving the club after assaulting and stabbing Victim 1. One video shows the three Defendants running down an alley. That video depicts Defendant 2 carrying Defendant 1’s sweatshirt. Defendant 2 is seen in the video throwing the sweatshirt into a nearby dumpster. Defendant 1 is also seen in the video throwing an unidentified object into the same nearby dumpster.
