On November 24, 2025, officers from the Fridley Police Department were dispatched to the Holiday Gas Station, located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] NE, city of Fridley, county of Anoka, Minnesota for a call regarding a disorderly man with a knife. Upon arrival officers met with the reporting party, L. A. S., Victim herein, who reported that a man, later identified as Aidrus Mohamed Mohamud [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, went into the gas station to purchase a cup of coffee, but Defendant did not have the money, so he exited the store.
When Defendant returned to the store, Victim [NAME REDACTED] could not purchase the coffee and needed to leave the store. Defendant argued with Victim, so Victim walked around the corner of the cashier counter and stood approximately six-feet from Defendant. Defendant became agitated and pulled a knife out of the right-side of his waistband and waived it towards Victim. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was waiving the knife around, Defendant said, "I will get you in the throat." Victim described the knife as an 6-8 inch silver, singled edged blade knife, with a red/orange handle.
Victim stated that he believed Defendant was going to stab him, and that he felt tightness in his chest while the knife was being waived at him. Fridley Officers later located Defendant and found a knife on Defendant that matched the description provided by Victim.
