On June 1, 2026, at approximately 10:13 A.M., Maplewood Officer Pekarek was dispatched to Pan Asian Center, Maplewood Mall, [ADDRESS REDACTED], Maplewood, County of Ramsey. TS reported he works at the Pan Asian Center and sells collector cards. He last saw his collector cards and his booth on May 31, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. At that time, nothing had been tampered with. FX reported he was at the Pan Asian Center store on May 21, 2026. He and another employee closed the store at 6:00 P.M. On May 31st and left the store at 7:15 P.M. FX returned to the store at approximately 10:00 A.M. On June 1, 2026. The glass on the display case where TS works had been pulled off and moved to the side.
Items were missing from TS’s display case, including collector cards. TS reported he was missing many items that included the following. Lucario V 8 Tyranitar; Two Crown Zenits Sea and Sky; Perfect Order Booster Box; Ascended Hero Pokemon Center; Ascended Hero White Flare; Ascended Hero Mega Evolution; Pokemon Fusion Box; Pokemon Obsession Box, and other items. The total estimated value of the stolen items is $5, 192.00. Officer Pekarek reviewed video that showed an unknown male wearing a white hat, a red and white tank top, red and black checkered pants, and gray flip-flops on camera at 7:30 P.M. And near TS’s display case.
The suspect male held items in his hand, placed them down, picked them back up, and went off camera. At 7:47 P.M., the suspect male was seen walking with a wagon loaded with unidentified items. On May 27, 2026, MIN TUN, [DOB REDACTED], was arrested by White Bear Lake Police on suspicion on shoplifting. TUN was released from jail on May 28th. At the time of his release from jail, TUN wore red and black plaid pants, a blue t-shirt, and gray slide sandals. This clothing is consistent with the clothing of the male suspect on May 31, 2026. Stolen property was recovered when TUN was arrested on June 8, 2026 during a Burglary at the Pan Asian Center (Court file ••-CR-••-••••). Some of TS’s stolen trading cards were found in a bin that TUN was on top of.
