On December 7, 2025, at approximately 7:00 P.M., Minneapolis Police Officers were dispatched to a building located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] West, in Hennepin County, Minnesota, on a report that three individuals were ingesting narcotics in an elevator room on the garage level of the building. Officers were provided a physical description of the three individuals. Upon arrival, officers observed four people in front of the elevator on the garage level, three of them matching the physical descriptions previously provided.
Officers identified all four people, one of whom was identified as KENNY ALLEN MCGEE, [DOB REDACTED], hereafter Defendant. Officers learned that Defendant had an active warrant for his arrest out of Goodhue County. Officers arrested Defendant pursuant to the warrant. Officers searched Defendant incident to arrest and recovered a clear plastic baggie containing.11 grams of a substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine and a clear plastic container containing 11.24 grams of a substance field- tested positive for methamphetamine from Defendant’s clothing (total of 11.35 grams). Officers also searched a bag that Defendant claimed was his, recovering a post it note containing.10 grams of a substance field-tested positive for fentanyl.
Defendant has prior convictions under Minnesota Statute Chapter 152 (See MNCIS Case No.: 25-CR-23- 606). At present, Defendant is in custody.
