Duwaun Keith Gatlin

On October 30, 2025, Minneapolis Police Officers observed an individual conducting narcotic transactions. A male, later identified as DUWAUN KEITH GATLIN, Defendant herein, was observed conducting hand-to- hand transactions with cash and suspected crack-cocaine on Milestone Cameras in front of 706 1st Avenue North, Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Officers received a search warrant for the Defendant and the Defendant's apartment inside 706 1st Avenue North. On November 3, 2025, Officers took the Defendant into custody and located $40.00 and a cell phone on his person.

Inside the Defendant's studio apartment, Officers located 6.5 grams of FTP fentanyl and cocaine and 6.48 grams of FTP fentanyl and cocaine totaling 12.98 grams on the dresser. Officers also located scales with white powder residue, razor blades with white powder residue, a ledger indicating dollar amounts commonly associated with narcotic sales, $360.00, and clear plastic baggies. In the closet, Officers located a Springfield 1911.45 caliber handgun inside of a drawstring bag wrapped in a t-shirt.

The firearm was reported stolen on October 8, 2023, in Minneapolis. The Defendant is prohibited from possessing firearms for a felony conviction out of the State of Mississippi. The Defendant is currently in custody.
