On December 6, 2025, around 3:25 P.M., law enforcement responded to Highway 10 and 7th Avenue, Anoka, Anoka County, on a report of a complaint regarding the driver of a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse (MN/SHU158) that was swerving and driving with their blinker on. Law enforcement was able to find the vehicle and observed it cross over the solid white line and go into the shoulder. Law enforcement initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as Kenyata Kentril Arradondo [DOB REDACTED], defendant herein.
Upon contact with defendant, law enforcement noticed several signs of impairment, including the odor of alcohol, slurred speech, slow movements, and bloodshot, watery eyes. When asked for his driver’s license, defendant provided law enforcement with his credit card. Defendant also eventually admitted to consuming some alcoholic beverages that night. Defendant failed all standardized field sobriety tests. Defendant was arrested and taken to the Anoka County Jail for a breath test. Defendant did not provide an adequate breath sample after multiple attempts.
Defendant has been convicted of six prior driving while impaired offenses in his lifetime, with three of those convictions occurring within the last ten years: (1) a gross misdemeanor conviction for driving while impaired in court file no. ••-CR-••-•••• from August 19, 2025; (2) a gross misdemeanor conviction for driving while impaired – refuse to give breath test in court file no. ••-CR-••-•••• from May 8, 2024; and, (3) a gross misdemeanor conviction for driving while impaired in court file no. 19WS-CR-20-6842 from January 20, 2022. Defendant’s driving status is also cancelled inimical to public safety.
