On June 11, 2026, at 1:57 A.M., Saint Paul Officers responded to the 1800 block of Nebraska, Saint Paul, County of Ramsey, involving 911 calls where callers heard a female calling for help. Officer Yantz drove by and heard a female yelling for help. Officer Yantz saw three females through the front window of the residence. Officer Yantz approached the residence, but found the front door locked. A small glass window on the door was broken. Officer Yantz heard a woman inside still calling for help.
Officer Yantz looked in the window and saw three women-who appeared frightened- huddled on or near the couch. The women continued to yell for help. Officer Yantz kicked the door open and entered the residence. Inside, Officer Yantz observed a large flat screen television that was broken and on the floor. One of the women was now standing and the other two women were on the edge of the couch holding on to two dogs. The women on the couch pointed to the woman standing and said, “It’s her.” Officer Yantz called the woman who was standing over to him, but she refused and sat down on a chair.
She said she had asthma and needed a moment. The woman who was previously standing was later identified as AUTUMN ANGEL SWEETWATER, [DOB REDACTED]. SWEETWATER declined directives to stand up and refused to place her hands behind her back. Other officers arrived. SWEETWTER yelled, grabbed onto the railing, and resisted efforts to be handcuffed. SWEETWATER was taken down and was handcuffed. The other two women were identified as SLL and JAF. SLL said she lives at the residence and JAF was visiting.
They arrived at home at around 1:10 A.M. At around 1:50 A.M., they heard SWEETWATER yelling for help outside. SLL called police. Shortly after, SWEETWATER went to the door and said she was being followed. When SLL did not allow SWEETWATER inside, she broke the window, reached through the window-cutting herself-and opened the door. Inside, SWEETWATER jumped on furniture, knocked things over, and behaved strangely. SLL and JAF held on to SLL’s two dogs hoping they would protect them from SWEETWATER. When officers arrived on scene, SWEETWATER held on to SLL’s arms and told her to not allow officers inside as they were not the real police.
SLL said SWEETWATER broke her television. She purchased the television from a friend for $50. SLL and JAF said they do not know SWEETWATER. In a subsequent conversation, SLL told officers that she has been staying at the residence on Nebraska for the last five months. She knows the renter, JR. JR lives at the residence with CL. JR’s friend is JG. JG often stays at the residence and crashes on the couch. At around 2:00 A.M., she heard a woman outside yelling for help. She looked outside and saw SWEETWATER (later identified) yelling and knocking on the door.
