Your complainant is employed by the Columbia Heights Police Department. In that capacity, complainant has reviewed official reports and has learned substantially the following: On November 24, 2025, at approximately 11:31 pm, Officers were dispatched to [ADDRESS REDACTED] NE for a reported domestic assault in progress. Upon arrival, officers observed a Jeep Grand Cherokee (MN Plate: [PLATE REDACTED]) parked on the south side of Gould Ave NE in front of the Ratio Apartments. Officer Hyatt-Duncan made contact with the occupants of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The driver of the Jeep was identified as TNJB [DOB REDACTED] reported that she and her friend, ALT [DOB REDACTED], who is her boyfriend’s sister, were walking back to her vehicle when she observed her boyfriend identified as Mahki Lavelle Triplett [DOB REDACTED], the Defendant herein, parked in a black car on the north side of Gould Ave NE. TNJB advised that while walking back to her vehicle the Defendant charged toward her, grabbed her, pulled her hair, and pushed her while yelling at her. TNJB advised she was unsure what initiated the altercation.
TNJB further reported that upon returning to her vehicle, she discovered both the driver’s side and passenger side mirrors had been broken, which had not been damaged prior to the incident. ALT corroborated TNJB’s account, stating that the Defendant charged the vehicle, pulled TNJB’s hair, and pushed her. ALT advised that she did not know what started the altercation but mentioned that the Defendant might suffer from schizophrenia. To date the Defendant has not been located.
