On January 4, 2026, at approximately 5:26pm, Officer Stetz from the Dillworth Police Department was dispatched to an address on 5th Street NE in Dillworth, Clay County, Minnesota for a report of a physical disturbance. Dispatch advised that the caller, Rodolfo G. Trevino Junior [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter "Defendant," indicated his wife fell and hit her back and shoulder on the wall. Dispatch advised that during the call they could hear a female in the background telling the caller to "get the PD here" and saying that the Defendant pushed her and he was denying it.
Upon arrival Officer Stetz made contact with T. T. ("Victim"), who indicated that her and Defendant had not been getting along for the past month. The Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been taking a doll house apart and putting it on shelves but the Defendant believed she was placing items in the shed. This upset the Defendant and he hit the Victim in the head with a shelf and pushed her. When the Defendant pushed the Victim, this caused the Victim [NAME REDACTED] on the door frame. Further, the Defendant threatened to smash the shelf over her head to kill her.
Officer Stetz noted that the Victim [NAME REDACTED]. The Victim's left side of her face was swollen, and her elbow had a small cut with fresh blood. The Victim indicated her ankle hurt as well but law enforcement did not note any visible injuries. Officer Stetz observed a broken shelf laying on the floor with shards and screws scattered around the entry way. The doll house was also in the entry way and was partially taken apart. The Defendant and Victim live together and have been married since 2008. Officer Stetz spoke with the Defendant who indicated that he got into an argument with the Victim over the Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the shed.
He denied any physical altercation and stated that the Victim slipped on the shelf that was in the floor of the entry way. ### PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
