Her vehicle was running when she exited her vehicle, but the key fob for the vehicle was still in her pocket. The male got into Other 2’s vehicle and drove off without permission. Other 2 also reported that she left her phone in her vehicle; that her husband tracked the phone’s location; and that her husband discovered the phone a couple blocks from where Other 2 was carjacked, presumably thrown out of her vehicle. Victim’s vehicle was processed for potential DNA evidence. Inside the vehicle, officers also located a pair 3 27-CR-25-28253 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 11/7/2025 of pants which contained a single live round of.40-caliber ammunition.
On July 28, 2025, at 11:30 PM, officers learned that a black male with a long gun robbed a different delivery driver, Other 3, at the same location where Victim was robbed: 2200 32nd St. E. In that case, the suspect ordered pizza from the phone number [PHONE REDACTED] and offered to pay for the pizza in cash. Once Other 3 arrived, the black male pointed a long gun at her head, demanded that she unlock her phone, and stole her vehicle. Investigators recognized the similarities to the robbery of Victim on July 19, 2025. Investigators obtained subscriber information for the cell phone number and observed that the subscriber listed his name as “Dijon Bell” and that he obtained the phone number on July 2, 2025. Investigators obtained a warrant to obtain the geolocation of the phone using [PHONE REDACTED]. On July 29, 2025, officers tracked the geolocation of the phone to the intersection of 29th Ave.
N. And Newton Ave. N North, Minneapolis, and observed Other 3’s vehicle. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle by activating their emergency lights.
