On Nov. 3, 2025, Hennepin County Sheriff's Office deputies were tasked with looking for a four-time felon and murder suspect Arlonzo Williams, the defendant in this case, and arrest him on outstanding warrants arising from an illegal weapons case (••-CR-••-••••) and a homicide (••-CR-••-••••). At approximately 2:30 PM, in broad daylight, Deputies located and identified Defendant at an apartment complex in Brooklyn Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Deputies observed Defendant enter the driver's door of a vehicle and drive away with a male in the front passenger.
Deputies quickly converged on the vehicle, stopped it, boxed it in, and ordered Defendant and his passenger, identified as Other, to hold up their hands. Deputies observed Defendant and his passenger raise their hands. Deputies then ordered Defendant and the passenger out of the vehicle. As Defendant stood up and exited the vehicle, deputies observed that Defendant had been sitting on a large P80 firearm with an extended magazine. Deputies seized the firearm from the driver's seat and made it safe.
Deputies observed that the firearm was loaded with a round in the chamber. Defendant was arrested and transported to jail on his warrants. Forensic testing is pending. Court records reveal that Defendant has four prior felony convictions for Aggravated Robbery in the First Degree, all of which he received on July 9, 2015. As a result of these convictions, Defendant is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition. A warrant is necessary because Defendant is in custody on unrelated charges.
