On March 4, 2026, AMY MARIE MOHS [DOB REDACTED] entered into a non-prosecution diversion agreement on a felony theft case in Hennepin County District Court file 27-CR-25-32590. Mohs stole over $1000 from a Target. On March 9, 2026, Mohs went to JC Penney at 1595 Highway 36 West, Roseville, Ramsey County. Mohs selected items and went into a fitting room. Mohs concealed the items inside a tote bag. Mohs left the store without paying for the items valued at $186.00. An asset protection employee made contact with Mohs and tried to get her to return the stolen items by standing in front of her with his arms out like an airplane.
Mohs told the employee he couldn’t touch her. Mohs pushed the asset protection employee and moved him out of the way. Mohs left with the stolen items and got into an orange Ford Escape. Mohs was identified as the robber. A FLOCK camera showed Mohs’ orange Ford Escape bearing Minnesota license JGL900 entered the mall campus. On March 11, 2026, Mohs was stopped and arrested driving her orange Focus. Mohs was advised of her constitutional rights and agreed to speak to an investigator. She said she is unemployed and homeless.
She said she stole three shirts and three pairs of shorts because she was broke. Mohs said the employee stood in front of her and pushed her with his belly while holding his arms up. Mohs claimed she ducked under the employee’s outstretched arms. She denied pushing or using force against the employee. Mohs sold a portion of the stolen items to a stranger for $20. Mohs asked about being released from custody because she was trying to fly to Clearwater, Florida for a vacation.
