On December 4, 2025, at approximately 10:04 P.M., officers were dispatched to [ADDRESS REDACTED] S, Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota, for a welfare check. Dispatch requested officers check on Hannah Marie Niska ([DOB REDACTED], hereinafter “Defendant”), who was reported to be suicidal and homicidal. Dispatch further advised that Defendant had two active warrants: a felony warrant out of Ramsey County (Case No. ••-CR-••-••••, 2nd Degree Burglary) and a gross misdemeanor warrant out of Hennepin County (Case No. 25-425247, Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle). Officers attempted to make contact with Defendant outside Room 1090 but received no response.
After waiting nearby for a short period, Defendant suddenly exited the room and began walking down the hallway. An officer called out to Defendant, who turned, looked at the officer, stated “No,” and continued walking away. Officers then approached Defendant, advised her she was under arrest, and placed her in handcuffs. Officers confirmed the outstanding warrants. Following confirmation of the warrants, Defendant was searched incident to arrest. Defendant advised officers that she had a bag in the front left pocket of her jeans.
Officers retrieved the bag and observed a solid gray, rock-like substance consistent with crack cocaine. The suspected substance was later weighed and measured approximately 1.87 grams, including packaging. Due to medical complaints, Defendant was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center prior to being booked into the Hennepin County Jail. Defendant is currently out of custody.
