On May 1, 2026, at approximately 1617 hours, officers were dispatched to [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Louis Park, Hennepin County for a domestic in progress. A female, later identified as Victim [NAME REDACTED], called and then was disconnected. Dispatch made attempts to get her back on the line, and she texted that she was assaulted by her boyfriend later identified as Jordan Michael Larson [DOB REDACTED], now referred to as "Defendant". Officers arrived on scene and began checking the area. Officers then observed two individuals abruptly exit the apartment building, a male and female.
The female, Victim [NAME REDACTED], advised she was the one who called 911. She was crying and stated she got into an argument with Defendant because he was laughing in her face, so she threw water at him. She advised Defendant grabbed her, slapped her, put his arm around her neck, strangled her, and pinned her on the floor. Victim [NAME REDACTED] explained she and Defendant had been in a relationship for 5 years and have been living at the address since November of 2025. Victim [NAME REDACTED] stated that she came home about an hour prior to calling police and had a stressful few days due to medical appointments and procedures.
She and Defendant have recently started running together and she needed to make phone calls before that happened today. He told her to get her stuff done and he kept laughing at her, so she got upset and splashed him with water. Defendant then charged at her and put his hand around her neck. She demonstrated an arm wrapped around her neck with her chin being in the bend of his elbow. Victim [NAME REDACTED] described this pressure as a 6 or 7 out of 10, with 10 being extreme pressure and pain and stated it "wasn't pleasant." Victim [NAME REDACTED] advised she couldn't breathe for a few seconds and that her neck was sore.
She stated that Defendant then brought her to the ground and pinned her down. She demonstrated this as both of her wrists pinned above her head. Defendant then slapped her causing redness to her face. Officers observed an abrasion on her arm and redness on her face. Officers then spoke with Defendant who confirmed the argument started over a run they were supposed to go on. He also stated she threw water at him at which point he charged toward her, grabbed her and went to the ground with her. Defendant admitted that leaving would have been the better option.
Defendant also stated that when he grabbed her "maybe my hand was around her neck." Defendant stated he was "more aggressive in the situation." Defendant is currently in custody at the Hennepin County Jail.
