On or about April 8, 2026, officers from the Fridley Police Department responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence in the city of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota. Upon arrival, officers located ANGELICA JUILET POSADAS [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter “Defendant,” sitting in a vehicle in the driveway. Officers also made contact with the victim, [NAME REDACTED], fully identified in the reports, who was inside the home. Defendant and Victim are in a romantic relationship, reside together, and share a child [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant reported that she and Victim got into an argument about childcare.
The argument became physical, and Defendant began scratching and pulling on Victim [NAME REDACTED] attempt to get him off the bed. Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant stated that Victim punched her an unknown number of times. Defendant admitted she then left the home intending to damage Victim’s truck. Defendant struck the truck multiple times with a bag full of tools, after which Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Officers spoke with Victim, who reported that the argument also became physical. Victim stated he left the room to retrieve a 10-inch knife.
Defendant then approached Victim [NAME REDACTED], causing Victim to close and lock the door. Defendant continued banging on the door and yelling for Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant then left the home and damaged Victim’s truck. Fearing Defendant would slash the tires Victim followed her outside and confronted her, removing the knife. Defendant later admitted she initially forgot about retrieving the knife before returning to confront Victim further. Defendant clarified that she did retrieve a knife and returned to pound on the door before going outside to damage Victim’s vehicle.
