Upon discharge, she was told to not put any weight on her left leg/foot and to only put weight on her right leg for pivot transfers. Her 3 27-CR-26-1691 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 1/21/2026 discharge diagnoses included: (1) right superior pubic ramus fracture; (2) left medial acetabular wall fracture; (3) bilaterial inferior pubic rami factures; (4) transverse S1–S2 fracture with flexion/anterior angulation; (5) compression of the descending S2–S4 nerve roots; (6) interspinous ligamentous tear of the L5–S1 level; (7) vertical fracture of the sacral wings bilaterally; (8) numerous transverse fractures through the sacral foramina; (9) trace left S1 joint fusion with intra-articular extension of the left sacral alar fracture; (10) left sacroiliac join, injury/instability; (11) right L5 transverse process fracture; and (12) hematoma within the subcutaneous soft tissues of the lower back measuring up to 8.3 cm in the craniocaudal dimension.
In a November 5 statement, Victim 1 relayed that (1) her pelvis was shattered and that there are eight pins and rods holding it together; (2) she had breaks in both hips—front and back—requiring her to stay off her feet; (3) she had spinal surgery; and (4) she had 36 staples going up her spine from her tailbone. Victim 2 sustained back pain and disc displacements at the C5–C6 and C6–C7 levels. Victim 2 also reported suffering a ligament injury to her left leg. Due to this crash, Victim 2 regularly sees a chiropractor.
