In Mower County District Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••, KENNEH was convicted of Threats of Violence and received an executed 15-month sentence on October 8, 2024. In Olmsted County District Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••, SEKOUBA KENNEH [DOB REDACTED] was convicted of Assault in the Third Degree on February 27, 2025. KENNEH received an executed 21-month prison sentence. On January 1, 2026, at approximately 12:34 A.M., officers responded to a residence on 14th Street SE in the City of Rochester, County of Olmsted, State of Minnesota.
Upon arrival, Ofc. Duit made contact with an adult female (hereinafter "Female Victim"). Victim had a noticeable amount of blood on the right side of her face. Ofc. Duit observed a small cut behind Victim's right ear. Victim reported that she and her significant other (hereinafter "Male Victim") were attacked by KENNEH. According to Victim, [NAME REDACTED] at the residence for the last couple months. On New Years Eve and early on New Years Day, there was a discussion about the victims and KENNEH paying rent to the homeowner.
Female Victim [NAME REDACTED] was conflict because KENNEH was telling Female Victim [NAME REDACTED], even though the rent was owed to somebody else (the homeowner). According to Female Victim, KENNEH came to her room and was getting agitated. Female Victim told KENNEH that the rent would be paid and it was none of his business, and that KENNEH should get out of her room. KENNEH then flipped a drawer in Female Victim's room. After flipping the drawer, KENNEH swung at Male Victim, [NAME REDACTED]. During the ensuing altercation, KENNEH grabbed both victims and shoved them.
According to Female Victim, KENNEH threw multiple closed fist punches on her. Male Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Wibstad and confirmed that KENNEH struck him with a closed fist multiple times. Male Victim also confirmed that KENNEH punched Female 2 55-CR-26-15 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 1/2/2026 Victim and was "throwing fists everywhere." Male Victim reported he does not reside there and has a home elsewhere, but stays sometimes with Female Victim. The homeowner reported that KENNEH is her boyfriend and stays at the residence every night.
According to the homeowner, KENNEH was upset because he thinks Female Victim doesn't pay rent. KENNEH had not slept in about four days and gets aggressive when he has not slept. The homeowner saw KENNEH throw a punch at Female Victim [NAME REDACTED]. The homeowner called 911. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: YOU MUST APPEAR FOR EVERY COURT HEARING REGARDING THIS CASE. FAILURE TO APPEAR FOR COURT IS A CRIMINAL OFFENSE AND MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CRIMINAL CHARGES BEING IMPOSED AND PUNISHED AS PROVIDED IN MINNESOTA STATUTES SECTION 609.49.
