On January 29, 2026, at approximately 11:21 AM, Carver County Sheriff’s Deputy Hovarter responded to reports of a theft in Chanhassen, Carver County, Minnesota. Victim, an adult male fully identified in police reports, reported that bank card had been used without his permission at a store near West 79th Street around 11:00 AM. Victim further reported that he received multiple notifications of unauthorized transactions from various bank cards after his wallet was stolen out of his truck earlier in the morning at a work site.
Deputy Hovarter obtained security footage from the store and observed a suspect making purchases totaling $486.89. While making purchases, the suspect attempted to use multiple bank cards but only one was successful. Victim followed up with Deputy Hovarter and reported multiple other fraudulent transactions that were pending on his bank accounts. Based on the surveillance footage, Deputy Hovarter was unable to identify the suspect. In February 2026, Detective Fiebelkorn gathered information to identify the suspect.
Detective Fiebelkorn learned that Victim’s bank cards were used at three different stores after his wallet was stolen from his vehicle on January 29. The bank cards were used at stores in Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, and Bloomington. Upon review of security footage from the stores, Detective Fiebelkorn observed the suspect wearing a face mask and similar clothing during each transaction. Multiple transactions involved the purchase of pre-paid VISA cards, and Detective Fiebelkorn obtained information related to the VISA cards via search warrant.
Using this information, Detective Fiebelkorn identified the suspect as NASZIR ZAIVION JUSTICE GRESHAM ([DOB redacted]). Detective Fiebelkorn compared surveillance footage from the fraudulent transactions and confirmed the suspect was Gresham by his visible left hand tattoo Detective Fiebelkorn also observed multiple social media posts in which Gresham was wearing the same clothes as he did during the fraudulent transactions. The total value of fraudulent purchases in this case is approximately $1,406.71. Gresham has used the same modus operandi to commit financial transaction card fraud in 19HA-CR-25- 2068 and ••-CR-••-••••. Specifically, Gresham has stolen wallets out of vehicles near work sites and then used the financial cards within to make purchases.
