Your Complainant is an Officer with the Owatonna Police Department. Investigation has revealed that on December 11th, 2025, at approximately 9:29PM, Officer Helget responded to a report that the reporting party's ex kicked her door in. Upon arrival, Officer Helget met with the reporting party, C. E. The door was standing open and Officer Helget saw damage to the door near the door knob. Officer Helget learned that C. E.'s ex-boyfriend, Rueben Rodriguez Jr. [DOB REDACTED], had been at C. E.'s earlier and left.
Rodriguez came back and kicked her door in, causing damage to the door. C. E. Stated Rodriguez did not knock or say anything prior to kicking the door. C. E. Did not invite Rodriguez in on this occasion. Rodriguez then went to C. E.'s bed and took her purse and credit card. The credit card was a prepaid Wisely credit card. C. E. Stated that Rodriguez knows C. E. Will get paid the next day, and the money will be put on the credit card account. C. E. Stated she did not give Rodriguez permission to enter her apartment or to take her credit card.
Officer Helget took photos of the damaged door. The door was split from the doorknob latch area up to the deadbolt. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
