On November 2, 2025, at approximately 1:54 A.M., Hopkins Officers Roeder, Early, Cooper and Pearsall responded to a call for service reporting at [ADDRESS REDACTED] in the City of Hopkins, Hennepin County, regarding an intoxicated adult female who was fighting with her mother. Officer Cooper spoke with the reporting party, MES, who stated that her daughter, YESENIA MITRE, [DOB REDACTED], (“Defendant”) was intoxicated and had assaulted MES. MES said the Defendant had been fighting with MES’ other daughters, KGM and MGTS, and when MES tried to intervene, the Defendant struck her and scratched her arm.
Officer Cooper spoke with MGTS who stated that she had been upstairs when she heard fighting and came downstairs. MGTS said when she asked the Defendant why she was assaulting MES, the Defendant attempted to strike her. MGTS said the Defendant tore her shirt during the altercation which ended when others intervened and MGTS went back upstairs. MGTS said she came back downstairs when she heard another altercation and observed that the Defendant had pulled hair from KGM. KGM, who had left the residence, told Officer Cooper on the telephone that the Defendant had initiated a physical fight with her that was stopped when MGTS and her boyfriend intervened.
Officer Roeder spoke with MES’ juvenile son, OBS, who stated that when KGM left the residence, the Defendant followed her outside and OBS did as well. OBS said while they were outside the residence, the Defendant charged at him and tried to punch him, but he was able to avoid being hit. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
