Your Complainant is an Officer with the Owatonna Police Department. On January 22nd, 2026, Steven Mack [DOB REDACTED] was taken into custody for an active warrant from the State of Wisconsin. On October 16th, 2025, a Warrant was issued for Steven Mack from Racine County, Wisconsin, for absconding from Community Corrections supervision of felony theft, as well as other matters. The State of Wisconsin indicated that they would pursue extradition of Steven Mack if not waived. Complainant has reasonable ground to believe that Steven Mack is the person described in the documents received from the State of Wisconsin and is a fugitive from justice.
Steven Mack should be brought before the Steele County District Court so he may be advised of his rights and a determination be made whether or not he waives extradition to the State of Wisconsin or whether he contests and demands a hearing relative to the right of the State of Minnesota to return him to the State of Wisconsin.
