On January 7, 2026, around 6:06 P.M., officers responded to a suspicious-person call at [ADDRESS REDACTED] in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Dispatch updated that the male suspect was near 31st Street West and Lyndale Avenue South. Dispatch notes relayed that the caller (“Victim”) was reporting that a male who had burglarized her residence a few weeks earlier had returned and approached her car. As officers arrived on scene, Victim emphatically pointed to a male on the street near her. Officers confirmed that the male was Defendant LEO COREY BROWN, born on [DOB REDACTED], and that Defendant had an active warrant.
As a result, officers arrested Defendant. Victim told officers that she and her two children arrived home and drove her car through the alley to the rear of her residence. As she approached, Victim [NAME REDACTED] in her parking spot at the rear of her residence. Defendant approached Victim’s vehicle and knocked on her window. Defendant stated things like “I don’t fu**ing care about you, I don’t want you.” Victim told Defendant to get away from her. Victim expressed fear for her safety and believed that Defendant was stalking her.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] had come to hurt her. Victim stated that she and Defendant are strangers. Defendant is presently charged for First-Degree Burglary of Victim’s residence from October 20, 2025, in court file #••-CR-••-••••. His conditional release in that case requires him to stay a three-block radius from Victim’s residence and to not have any contact with Victim. Defendant is in custody.
