Probable Cause
On 04/02/2026 at approximately 0146 hours, the Robbinsdale Police Department was informed about a shooting from Minneapolis with an associated white Infinity bearing an identified MN plate. The Infinity had been reported stolen in close proximity to this incident. A vehicle matching the description was located at North Memorial Health in Robbinsdale, Hennepin County where it dropped off two shooting victims at the hospital. Law enforcement observed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and fail to come to a complete stop at a stop sign at Oakdale Ave N and Abbott Ave N in Hennepin County.
Law enforcement activated lights and sirens to stop the vehicle for its association with the motor vehicle theft, failure to stop, and speeding. The vehicle did not stop and drove off at a high rate of speed over a considerable distance. The vehicle maintained speeds in excess of 90 miles per hour. The vehicle drove on the sidewalk and slid over a curb into bushes. The vehicle reached 100 mph and briefly crossed into oncoming traffic before crashing through two chain link fences and ending in a rollover.
The lone occupant and driver was identified as NAZARYE SINGLETON, [DOB REDACTED] (SINGLETON). SINGLETON asked officers, "Did I almost get away?" SINGLETON was injured and transported to hospital. The Infinity driven by SINGLETON was confirmed stolen at the time of the flee and the owner did not give SINGLETON permission to drive the vehicle. SINGLETON is being held on this matter and a separate warrant at the HCDC.
