On February 26, 2026, at 5:06 P.M., Golden Valley Police officers were dispatched to a theft report at Walgreens, located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] North in Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officers met with the store manager, who reported that, five female suspects arrived at the store in a black 2012 GMC Terrain bearing Minnesota license plate [PLATE REDACTED]. The vehicle was registered to Dariyanna Donita Mapp. The manager reported that the five females entered the store, selected merchandise, concealed items on their persons and in bags, and then exited the store at 4:57 P.M. Without paying.
An employee leaving for the day photographed the license plate of the suspects’ vehicle. Walgreens provided an itemized inventory showing a total loss of $615.27. The stolen merchandise consisted primarily of bath and soap products, hand and body lotions, razor blades, and deodorants. Officers reviewed surveillance video and observed multiple suspects actively concealing merchandise. One suspect was seen grabbing items from store shelves and concealing them on her person. Another suspect was observed taking merchandise and concealing it on her person, while a third suspect concealed items inside a bag before leaving the store without paying.
Through further investigation, suspect 3, who was wearing a black hooded zip-up sweatshirt with a white logo on the left chest area, a pink bonnet, and light-colored pants, was positively identified as Reyanna Monique Jada Bursey ([DOB REDACTED], hereafter “Defendant 1”). Another suspect, who was wearing a purple jacket, black shirt, black pants, and a pink bonnet, was positively identified as Dariyanna Donita Mapp ([DOB REDACTED], hereafter “Defendant 2”). Golden Valley Crime Analysis personnel located Defendant 1’s Facebook account.
At 5:04 P.M. On February 26, 2026, Defendant 1 posted, “Who need household order??” Another individual commented, “No DEPOSIT NO ORDER HH!” Defendant 1 replied, “And WHEN I SAY IM DONE W YOUR ORDER COME GET TS.” On February 27, 2026, Golden Valley Police responded to another theft at the same Walgreens location involving two female suspects. Officers reviewed surveillance footage and positively identified the suspects as Defendant 1 and Defendant 2. The total loss from the February 27, 2026, theft was $507.19. Combined with the February 26, 2026, theft, the total loss to Walgreens of $1,122.46.
