Deputy Dahmes spoke with Victim, an adult female fully identified in the reports. Deputy Dahmes observed Victim [NAME REDACTED] attempting to clean broken glass from the ground. Deputy Dahmes observed the glass door to be completely shattered, with glass shards throughout the area. There were also blood droplets, which Victim [NAME REDACTED] from her dog who had walked through the broken glass. Victim reported to law enforcement that she went out for dinner at Boondox with Steven Earl Nagle, [DOB REDACTED]. Nagle consumed alcohol at the bar and was intoxicated.
Victim transported Nagle back to his mother’s residence in Elk River. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had an argument about Nagle’s marijuana use and Nagle caused the passenger window to crack. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was exiting the area, Nagle came out into the roadway stating, “run me over.” Nagle eventually moved, allowing Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Victim returned to her own home, when she heard loud banging and shouting coming from outside her home. Victim reported being fearful for her safety. Victim reported Nagle kicked the door, causing the glass to shatter.
The damage is expected to exceed $1,000. Nagle did not enter the home but returned to his own vehicle. Victim advised she left the residence, got into her own car, and drove back to Nagle’s mother’s home to inform her what had happened. Victim reported that Nagle followed her the entire way in his vehicle. Deputy Antigua located Nagle outside the residence. Nagle advised they got into an argument and he elbowed the vehicle’s passenger window. He was dropped off at his parent’s residence by Victim, but realized he left his wallet and phone with her.
Nagle drove back to Victim’s residence where he went to the back door and broke the glass. Nagle acknowledged drinking alcohol, with the last drink being approximately 3:00 or 4:00 PM. Nagle was transported for Datamaster testing. He was read the Breath Test Advisory and submitted to the test, the result of which was.09 BAC at 8:41 PM. ‐ Nagle has a prior DWI conviction occurring through Sherburne County file 71‐CR‐18‐812, on October 22, 2018.
