On February 3, 2026, at around 1:30 PM, Sartell Police officers responded to a domestic dispute at an apartment complex on 7th Street South in the City of Sartell, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota. Victim A, fully identified in the police reports, had called 911 reporting that his daughter had attacked him with a knife. Victim A's daughter was later identified as Luisana Graciete Tavaris, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein. Police met with Victim A upon arrival at his apartment. They observed a knife on the kitchen floor, an opened kitchen drawer, and a knife sheath laying on the counter.
The approximate blade length of the knife was six inches. Police also observed that Victim A had a full mouth bite mark on his arm that was still bleeding. Victim A showed another bite mark on his right lower thigh. Victim A reported that the defendant was in his apartment earlier that day talking on the phone. Victim A reportedly heard his daughter complaining about her life on the phone and he argued with her. Victim A reported that in response, the defendant tried to hit him in the head with the phone and he pushed her away.
The defendant then came back at him again and he tried again to push her back. Victim A noted he had surgery on a broken left arm and the defendant knew he was weak. Victim A told police that the defendant then ran into the kitchen and grabbed a knife from the drawer. Victim A tried to grab her arm to stop her and the defendant swung the knife backwards in a stabbing motion to hit him. Victim A blocked her attempts and the defendant dropped the knife. The defendant then bit Victim A's forearm and kept biting down for approximately 15 seconds.
When Victim A tried to push her away, she then bit him in the lower thigh area. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on the 3rd day of February, 2026, in the City of Sartell, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offense described herein.
